Well the first two dj's or one of them was seemingly ignorant of how it is to be a dancer on the floor. From one song to another, there was a lack of smooth transitions. Also, I found the scratching he/they were doing quite unneccessary and obtrusive.

However, I don't mean to diss anyone as I do respect that people are in a learning process and I do encourage people, in general, to create art.

Hashek and Jeff were awesome. I say awesome because I feel that they were in tune with the dancers on the floor...

I'm not sure, which one of them it was. BUt I remember one of them played mistress barbara and I cheered and danced to it.. and then they played more of her tunes.. which just happened to be the ones I digged greatly.

There's more to why they played well.. but this is already getting long....

The other Dj's .... I did not get to see.. left at 5:20 am...

But besides this ... met almost everyone there and everyone was super nice... interesting...

Plus, there were people playing tams/bongos --drum thingy's, which rocked... since they were like my backbone while I was dancing.

Fuck, I love to dance to music with live bongo playing.....

How does one guy render a whole genre obsolete? I'm not here to defend trance because that would be really sad. Anyway, different music affects people differently. I have a propensity to dance to trance. When I dance, it is imbued with coordination, balance, timing and my moves incorporate those elements and I also add a twist of entertainment-- mechanical actions, I act like a zombie, puppet... I find trance is ideal for that.
