gragrious: totally! I mean, the external is part of our make up like the masculine/feminine principle, or positive and negative.

Well, I'm happy atleast that I have remembered my trip on ghb. I'm also lucky I didn't od. I remember trying to wake my friend up who was on it and I finally started shaking him and still no movement.. I was shaking him and talking to him pretty loudly and then finally his toes started rubbing together. It was like alright, sign of life!
what is bukkake?

IT looks like a book I would really enjoy, Thanks.

Foucault discusses the question of madness and how to define it by studying madness from 1500 to 1800--from the Middle Ages when insanity was considered part of everyday life and fools and madmen walked the streets, to the point when these people began to be considered a threat, asylums were built for the first time, and a wall was erected between the insane and the rest of humanity.   Introduction by Jose Barchilon, M.D.  Translated by Richard Howard.

My uncle defined insanity as doing the same thing over again and again and expecting different results.
This male I leaned so much from said that detachment was akin to insanity.
And speaking of detachment, in that way, genius and insanity both involve a certain level of detahcment but one is healthy, obviously and the other is not.

Someone very close to me has bi-polar disorder and has been on lithium for more then ten years. Anyways, I have noticed that when she stops taking her medication and becomes more apparently bi-polar, the people in her midst rarely treat her with much respect. But i can see it is generally because they don't know how to handle her, nor do they understnad what her problem is.

I wish society would come to understnad more about mental illness so we can better help them in their "craziness".
Plus, I often wonder as someone mentioned as well about how it must be for her, when she resumes taking her medication and is confronted or remmebers to a certain degree how she was behaving.
I am appauled that she is not in therapy that thereapy is not more of an option to be offered. I assume and realize that much of her "crazy" behaviour is repressed into her subconscious. BUt it is not gone and that is precisely the point.

I remember being over at my friend's place when I was young, watching t.v. and my friend's mom the one who has bi-polar shut the t.v off and told us there was cocaine going through the cable.

It's interesting to consider though because though there is not literally any cocaine going through the cable, symbolically, there may be.

I think mental illness is very sad and my heart goes out to each and everyone of you who have witnessed it.
I think it is a symptom of a larger problem that we have yet to understnad.

I`m sure their native religion doesn`t promote sex with more then one partner. Christians and the pope have said that about every culture they ever invaded. And yes btw the christians raped and burned their children, not the other way around.
There`s a difference between promoting sex with multiple partners and not having a rule about it. The difference between the old religions and the new ones is that the old ones consisted of a set of philosophies rather then rules, and whatever rules they did have were backed up by solid philosophical truths. Chrisianity has nothing to back up anythign it says. It`s message is to obey without thinking, and that is the mentality it spreads. People are entitled to their opinions and whatever path in life they may chose. Today religion is a rule book by which to live your life, it shouldn`t be that way, it didn`t used to be. This is why christianity is dying. This is also why ancient religions never died, not until they were forced to obey or die that is. With the christians came war and discrimination. Most of our society gave up on the bible and as a consequence we are seeing more and more improvements and acceptance.

I don't know where you live. but I live in canada where non-thinking for yourself is promoted each and everyday. I call it politics.

Most of countries in Africa or either christians, either moslems. What did Church do to help them? The Pope said in a Travel in Africa to do not use contraceptive because sex should always be done for reproduction.
What do a bunch of old men that never had sex know about this?

It's a good point. I suppose. But who says they NEVER had sex.. what do people who "always" have sex know about abstaining from it. Contraceptives are a temporary solution to a permanent problem.

^^^right on! There's a point in the addicted person's process, where it seems that no matter how hard they want to quit, they just can't. But you can and will. Any little effort in the direction of quitting, is an effort that your self can take notice of to help you quit.

Of course, you can teach, educate, by example that drugs are not the way to go.

Just try telling me not to use "illegal" *drugs, when selling pharmaceuticals is a major source of our livelihood though. Good luck! Humans learn by example. WE are logical, thinking creatures. We need laws we can respect. Our whole culture is based on soulaging ourselves with products-- drugs of all kinds. I wouldn't expect anything less from every individual.

the promoters don't need a union.. they need to communicate amongst themselves... perhaps through that they can improve the scene.
It;s so fuckin' hard though because we live in a society that does not promote co-operation perse.
I know you know neoform. I may have gone out on a limb though.

bah, that's why they invented contracts.. so if people try to fuck you over.. you can say ha ha no you don't. BUt, personally, I wouldn't want to go settle the issue in court.

If JAck, whoever that is, is experiencing the too heavy burden of people waiting to the last minute to make bookings all on the same day... I can see some ways of reducing the problem. But I can see how tricky it is too. Because...why.. cause just because you feel there needs to be a change, you're not neccessarily gonna get one.

the above^^ is another one of the good arguments I've heard about the "war on drugs"...
the truth is prohibitive tactics only work on people who fear punishment by the quote unquote law that is not easy to respect..

I agree with what you said ... it ought to be our choice that would be progressive... except apparently the government knows what's best for us.
