the only time I badtripped on E, was when I went to a rave at the cepsum. I took a pill and when it hit, I felt like I kept drifting in and out of consciousnes. I heard my friends talking but couldn't understnad what they were saying. The words they spoke were merely sounds, incoherent sounds. So I just sat there drifting in and out of consciousness. Finally, I was sitting in the stands alone, looking at the dance floor, when my vision zoomed in on an overweight girl and my imagination, which was extremely vivid painted a story about the overweight girl and I saw all the perils, which were potentially awaiting her, atleast in my mind.

Shortly after this, I imagined the rave scene as a neo-shamanistic event. I saw an elephant on the dance floor, who was clanging symbols rather mechanically and rhythmically and he was leading all the dancers who appeared to be following his cadence.

As or after this happened, everytime the lights flashed over the vip balcony, I saw people pointing and laughing hysterically at me.

I, too , was having delusions and they were disturbing. Symptoms of schitzophrenia. As a result, I stopped using the drug for 6 years. I'm kinda glad that happened.

I've been cheated on. I, rarely, if ever cheated on any of my boyfriends. being "faithfull" as it is callled was never a problem for me. I don't find it all that difficult to only have sex with one person.

Now I remember the only time I cheated on a boyfriend was when I was deeply hurt by the said-boyfriend in question, who had already cheated on me. I immaturely, when and fucked around with his friend. Really, immature. I work hard not to do things like that anymore.

Being "faithfull" to your boyfriend/girlfriend can be a symbol of commitment, an act consecrating the sacred act of sex. But it can degenerate into a possesiveness precipitated by a selfish ego. Being faithful can also be a way to ensure that you and your partner do not contract a disease.

I wonder if faithfulness is important to you, why is it important? And if it is not, why not??

That's bull shit.

If I want or need something to get done, your fucking damn right i'll get it done... But:

"You can only change what is under your control" ,right?

What I said is not bullshit mico. We all live in situations and to understand individuals it can help to look at the situation. Yes, we were born, in general, to some degree, into a climate of doing nothing. That doesn't mean that nothing can be done. I was presenting the above as an excuse or a justification for not acting. It is in our power to do something. Of course, I won't deny the power of the human will. But I also won't denye the power of circumstance and situation.

Gen. Richard Myers, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, described the U.S. military as in a period of increased risk, according to a senior defense official, who described the report Tuesday on the condition of anonymity.

Why the anonymity? The only sttatement in here, which might make the war look like not a good idea is done anonymously. It's peculiar.

"We will prevail," Myers said when asked about the report. "The timelines (to winning a new war) may have to be extended and we may have to use additional resources, but that doesn't matter because we're going to be successful in the end."

The media should ask him or I should ask him what he means by successfull. War is about violence and since when does violence equal success. Sure war can have relatively good outcomes-- ie. the economy can flourish as a result.

Myers predicted the risk would go down in a year or two, the official said. Myers provided the report to Congress on Monday.

Of course, Myers is some kind of expert. I would like to see the report. Will go check if I can find it. It also doesn't mention if the risk will stay down. All things that rise fall, but it doesn't neccessarily end there. They also don't tell us what the percentage is of the said calculated prediction. When we calculated the potential outcome of a thing in Quantitative methods, we could calculate the percentage or likelhood in percentage of somthing occuring. People still rely on experts to make decisions for them. This is why I say these things. Plus, experts are liable to make an error, and in this case it might be just a comment to mislead people into supporting the war. Who wrote the article? Who's funding the paper or online paper where this article comes from?

Still, the report says the U.S. military is able to win any conflict it becomes involved in, said Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman.

There's confidence and then there's over-confidence. The fact that the report says that makes the report appear less valid. However, it doesn't state arguments as to why they can win any conflict. Moreover, I highly doubt the fact, while imagining a nuclear explosion in which case everyone loses atleast not in theory but in practice.

"We are at war and that level of operations does have some impact on troops," White House spokesman Trent Duffy said. "But the president continues to be confident, as well as his military commanders, that we can meet any threat decisively."

Synonyms: decisive, conclusive, crucial, definitive, determinative
These adjectives mean determining or having the power to determine an outcome: the decisive vote; a conclusive reason; crucial experiments; a definitive verdict; the determinative battle.

hmmm...

we, as a people, can also get organized, beyond the governemnt. Communicate more, get organized so as to effect changes without depending on our so-called government to do it for us.

I definately could expand on this idea-- but keeping it brief.

found that quite funny zeev.

my story: first time doing strong acid, walking with friend down narrow street, saw colored paper people cut-out looking things on the ground, my friend kept turning around thinking someone was following her because she forgot that I was there. It was -20 and I had no jacket on. At this time concept of ufo's freaked me out and lo and behold what did I see-- 100 ufo's beaming lights on me.
We finally got to the phone booth to call her mom b/c she was under youth protection and I just kept walking back and forth, so high, until I felt like my necklace was choking me so I ripped it off.

This other time, was 13, popped a bunch of tylenol and took asthma pump and my friend had a hanibal lecture (silence of the lambs) display-- she grabbed one of the bars (jail bars) made out of cardboard and imiatates this jamiacan homeless guy we saw that day, saying "I'll belt you one" and hit me with the cardborad. Laughing hysterically till this happened.

Well peolple choose to be buried in a box, so it don't see why it would be disrespectfull.

People also choose to kill others.... burying people in formaldehyde in a box is useless and interferes with the natural disintegration process done by the decomposers of the earth. Anyway, it's off the topic of wildest trips. Just cares to clarify and explain.

If parents were a tad more interested in their kids and talking to them, maybe stuff like that could be avoided. MAYBE.

I like how you say maybe. I could see how more communication between parent and child could prevent these things from happening. But parents are often not skilled at communication because of the socialization they recieved or because they didn't get all that much opportunity. Also, the youth today live significantly different lives and parents generally have to work alot at jobs that are not necessarily soul-fulfilling and through their choices they lose patience amongst other things. Who's to blame? I like what my friend ronald jump said no one is at fault or to blame for anything. But we do have a responsibility that we could take up.

I agree that the mass media can be and is mostly conservative.

Even though the media is that "bad" , parents still plop themselves in front of the t.v. with their children too.

It was never my style either to descrate graves. Drugs can help a person do anything. Even though I still wouldn't desecrate a grave, not my type of pro-action. But I don't know what the bigger disrespect is-- burying the body covered in formaldehyde in a box or kicking the statue and/or grave and puking on it. I think most people would agree that the second thing is worse. But I don't know.

I know you.
I wish I would say somthing to you..
it's the right thing to do
but not acceptable
I don't think you would mind or maybe you would..
every day I think of you
want to break past the barrier
that I found after I was born
after I met society and she lied
oh she lied
she lied!
she could have been more accurate
her failing wisdom
I'm not in school
it's your responsibility as much as it is mine
I'm not the teacher I'm the student.
roles and responsibilities
poorly distributed
Jesus did it with the bread and fish
where's my portion?
I'm hungry and hardly know how to feed myself
estranged from my own self
all because of
ME ME ME!

"So this guy decided to do what a million parents can't even do for their own child : monitor what they see and do. If parents did some fucking parenting and watched what their kids are watching and playing, we wouldn't be blaming a video game company for being irresponsable."--pixelized

May be, but not neccessarily. I don't mean to find error... but rather to point out the reasoning. I agree with your statement generally.
I could see how years/days months of watching violence and not doing much about it could lead to apathy or passive acceptance of violence. There have been studies to show that violent shows, games, can lead to agressivity in young ones especially. But more importantly, how about all the violence in the world. People are dying in the millions everyday of starvation because of the system we have in place?!--- like as if they couldn't be fed. That is a form of violence. Wars take place like the one in Irak-- how come there are not more articles about what it will do to the kids?!
Maybe in its own little way, these video games allow not only for fantasy to pass the time away in a violent world but also a means for youth to feel that they have some kind of control over the problems of the world even though it is illusory.
