I've been abusing Chinese movies recently to try to put to use my mandarin podcast lessons. Not too impressed. With myself and the movies. Fearless: 7/10 Jet Li doing the guy who started Wushu. Highly romanticised. Passive fashism. I don't know if that made sense to anyone. It's pretty condescending to other cultures in a not so talented subtle way. Good martial arts of course, nothing out of the ordinary. It's a feel good movie if your chinese. The promise: 6/10 When I see too much make-up, or this uber moralising story line, I get annoyed. It may be a kids movie, I dont' know, I'm not chinese. I think it might even be a girl flick, seriously, you never know. But there's this fairy like land, and the ppl there were semi gods, and this one guy that survived is now a slave.. yatti yatti yatta. You get what I'm saying... Seven Swords: 8/10 Great martial arts, ppl flying around, visualy interesting for the decors and costumes. So not the movie reviewer here.. when it's good it'S good. that's it. |

" a healthy dose of paranoa is always good" cause it's true. You can pick pretty much any lock these days. Basically, the safest lock you can get is a side code bar from another region. I'm buying one on e-bay soon. |

» Bunnytronix replied on Tue Apr 4, 2006 @ 8:54am. Posted in Lockpicking 101. |
Ian, watch it, it's hilarious. There's this new technique that's called bumping: the tigher the lock, the easier it is to pick.. Basically, it's taking a 99999 key, and cutting the shoulder by half an cm. Put the key in and slap it lightly with a plasric hammer. This "bumps" the higher pins by energy transfer from the lower pins. You can even pick electronic locks with 80 kg pull magnets. |

Originally posted by MILLER... but wouldnt that make the whole seperation worthless, yes Quebec would become its own country, but very soon after it will belong to the Americians making it a new state. and that is exactly why I'm a seperatist against seperation... In short.. it's too late. It would've been something in the early 80's before immigration. But now, there's no unity in the population on that topic and it'S just wack to drag it on. And I'll prolly be bashed for this, but Charest made more progress for Quebec's recognition of "compétences" which meant budget control over key social aspects. CAnd when you think about it, Quebec as a province can be recognised if it has budget s for every single entity that a contry has... ex: There's Maison du Québec abroad, there's a immigration Quebec, etc. |
» Bunnytronix replied on Thu Mar 30, 2006 @ 3:06pm. Posted in Quebec Seperation. |
Miller: Quebec has a better economic position than the rest of canada. But with a seperation issue, there'd be a major investment digression because of the initial 10 years of a new country's readjustment for international relations, economic and political (ex: trade agreements), hence making it a little less obvious to plan ahead and make viable business plnas for major companies. But military issues right now don't mean fuck all. They would invade, but with capital instead. Major digression of investments would mean realy cheap assets could be afforded here, and we'd become american property. Such as your ass, which already goes realy cheap on the market I hear. |
» Bunnytronix replied on Wed Mar 29, 2006 @ 11:44pm. Posted in Quebec Seperation. |
And P.Q. state that they don't want to have that book in schools.. not even in case of seperation.. what a bunch of lyers.. I mean.. look at them.. they want to seperate!! OMFG! they must be satanists. |
