Can't wait for the pool party [ money.cnn.com ] [ Playboy.com ] and SuicideGirls join forces Site for adult mag joins with youth-oriented site featuring women with body piercings and tattoos. February 13, 2004: 10:20 AM EST LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - [ Playboy.com ] the Web site for adult entertainment company Playboy Enterprises Inc, Thursday unveiled an unusual deal to pair photos and other content of Playboy's sleek models with the tattooed and pierced women of [ SuicideGirls.com ] Under the arrangement, fast growing [ Playboy.com ] will feature pictures and merchandise from SuicideGirls in a weekly cross promotion aimed at driving users to each site and boosting subscribers, e-commerce sales and other revenues. "SuicideGirls is cool, and Playboy has a history of doing things that are cool. They (SuicideGirls) might be pierced and tattooed, but these girls are also natural," said John D. Thomas, editor of [ Playboy.com ] Thomas said [ Playboy.com ] has formed alliances with a few other Web sites in the past, but none with similar content to SuicideCirls SuicideGirls, co-founded by Missy Suicide in fall 2001 in Portland, Oregon, is a Web community where women can post pictures and information about themselves that users can comment on. The women retain control of the pictures. The site boasts about 500,000 unique visitors, according Missy Suicide, and is fast becoming a popular culture place to be on the Web. "Playboy has always been a huge influence for me. I love their early pictures ... they are classy pictures of beautiful, naked women and that is what we are about as well," she said. [ Playboy.com ] has become a recent success for Chicago-based Playboy (PLA: up $0.30 to $15.60, Research, Estimates) after years of struggling and losing money. On Wednesday this week, Playboy reported annual earnings, and the online division had turned an operating loss of $8.9 million in 2002 to an operating profit of $2.8 million in 2003. It has turned operations around by featuring exclusive content often not found in the magazine or on Playboy TV, which has helped boost its traffic and increase subscriptions. |

HaHA! ;) Alex! You suck mothercunter! I heard what Subtone did. He's killing it! If you strictly work your tunes with samples you get... you're gonna produce so-so tracks. But when you can actually take samples, murder them with effects, and re spit them on your board. You're actually going somewhere... Edit: That works for real life producing too. |

Speed mixing can be done with long progressions too... I mean like: Time it to be break down to Bash time. And fuck around with it on it's progression. I don't know if that makes senses for Prog House though. |
