Dave, thank you very much for an amazing party! This was my first TW party and from what I hear, will be the last... makes me sad I missed the others. The vibe was insane, there was an amazing oldskool feel to the night that brought back alot of great memories, now this definately added to the bunch. I can only hope there will be more events along these lines bringing different crowds together, it made all the difference in the world (especially to someone who mainly only goes to/plays at psy-specific events)...promoters take note, thats how its done!! :) Great sets from all the dj's, heard alot of killer classics mixed in with the new, all in all kept me smiling the whole night. I was really impressed by Daves hardstyle mix at the end of the night, Ive been wondering what hardstyle was for a while now and Im happy to have been given what I am only certain was a proper dose. Once again thanks Dave and crew, your professionalism was greatly appreciated, good luck in the future. -Kalan

well its hard to tell in the experimental/contemprary genre.. sometimes the "muddyness" is intentional.. maybe check your equing especially hipassing and or use the frequency sweeping technique to weed out and freq's that stand out too much... should clean it up tonz. peace -K

I made a few psy tracks using scratch samples, it worked out pretty well, but id really love to learn how to do it for real... anyone feel like giving me a 101 class?

IMO theres no room for error when mixing any genre.. I used to mix Jungle for a few years before I got into psy and ill give it to you the nature of it is somewhat more challenging.. I personally use alot of what I learned back then today when I approach mixing psy today, No excuses for lazy ass dj's and it really sucks to see the recognition alot of djs get based on anything but true talent. peace -K
