Noone I know has ever payed licensing fees and I doubt anyone would complain.. lame I know but most psytrance releases sell between 200 and 500 copies these days.. aka .. what are the majors going to sue you for?.. dried bagels and KD? .. I doubt it. ;) To be honest the reqiuem thing has been done and played to death, I doubt any label would buy it for starters. Why not try to do something a little more origonal or up to datelike the theme song for Talladega Nights (you get my point), unles you just wanna do it for kicks. good luck -K

For starters, im not sure the Circus would want to deal with the rave clientele.... last time I tried to go there to see my friends Nuclear Ramjet ...with an invitational guest pass... they refused my entry, when I asked why the doorman said that he wasnt sure I wanted to get into this with him and my best and only option was to leave now in a threatening voice. The only thing "wrong" with me at that time that I can think of was my dreadlocks... if that was enough to get me black listed.. I really dont see any of you freaks getting in anytime soon (not that youd want to listen to their crappy music).. si cest vraiment le Circus qui se plain, je trouve quils parlent un peu a travers leur chapeau. Get the other parties shut down .. then refuse the freaks at their door.. BRAVO gang de.....

on a side note... its not the rave promoters feeding off the afterhours.. origonally.. it was the other way around.

Sweet dig... the venue was fantastic for that kind of event, Im not sure how many people were there for the psytrance it really felt like a hardcore crowd so i hope noone minded too much when we sped our live set up to 155 at the end :P PSYCORE!! lol big thanks to the promoters for keeping things fresh with the new room and an even bigger respect to them for keeping their engagements. I think it might have a lot to do with the fact that traditionally part of the rave trip was wondering where the hell you were going to end up for the night... I really miss the days where youd get on a bus and have no clue where the hell you were going to party. I do know that its getting harder and harder for promoters to factor these pleasant surprises into their budgets... the Fractal is a great plan B, and thank god it exists... but I would like to see promoters go venue hunting with a tad more integrity just to keep the vibe fresh and exciting.

Mickos .. as I write this I am sitting in front of NRS SPC computer with his live set open.... in ableton there are two view windows... in one there are two streams of bounced bassic tracks, probably what you saw.... and in the other theres 36 additional channels linked to the first window consisting of hundreds of his home made loops samples, midi synths sounds all lined up and synched to be triggered with different fx and automated either via mouse or midi keyboard...WICH IS EXACTLY WHAT HE DID... if thats not a live to you then its you versus the global standard.. Might I suggest you stop making yourself look like a fucking idiot by posting shit you obviously know nothing about and showing some respect for people who have long gotten off their slag asses to make something positive happen instead of just mouthing off and getting on people nerves... you should be taking notes.

David and Felix, thanks for an amazing party, so much amazing talent under one roof :)It was killer to hear music from all these different places.. new york, vancouver, london. I heard alot of stuff we dont usually get the opportunity to hear in montreal wich I found quite enlightening. Everyone just killed it in a big way. deco worked well, vjs were on top of their game as usual just a really nice blend of something special we dont get often enough. PROPS! :):)
