Man we played hard, that was a hard loss. Belfour was pretty solid. We need some rest!

We'll see against the Bruins on Thursday. I think Danny will be in goals.

Went to Mexico last year and the same thing was happening to us in Rio Lagartos. We went out one night with a guy to take us to see the aligators. He'd use a huge lamp to see the aligators eyes shine in the distance but the light also stimulated the fish that subsequently jumped all around and into the boat. It was pretty sick.

Guys if you have a pretty good computer, you don't even need the actual final scratch anymore. Just buy the final scratch time coded vinyls and hook your decks up to your low latency sound card and VOILA. Download Dj-decks (open source... So it's free) and they have cracked the Final Scartch time code and you don't even need that stupid scratch-amp anymore...

Check it out...

What is djDecks Vinyl Control?

djDecks is a computer dj program that can play mp3,ogg,wma and wav files.
FinalScratch is a system that allows you to manipulate your digital music files with a special vinyl record. The records contain a special code that allows your pc to determine at which position and at what speed your vinyl is currently spinning. MsPinky, VirtualDJ and SSL are similar systems, but they use different records, and different timecodes to determine velocity and position.
This site offers some plug-ins to make the FinalScratch, MsPinky, VirtualDJ and SSL records work with the djDecks software.
Here's a small movie that shows you how the FinalScratch records work in djDecks.
You can also listen to this demo that a djDecks user made with a FinalScratch record (Thanks to Opooly!)

What do I need to use it?

You need a computer capable of running djDecks and an original FinalScratch timecoded vinyl.
You also need a sound card with ASIO drivers. ASIO is a system designed by Steinberg that makes it possible to record and play back sound with a very low latency.

There is a small list of cards that have ASIO drivers. These cards should work with djDecks.
If your card doesn't have ASIO drivers, there are some generic ASIO drivers available that can work with almost any sound card. Performance may not be as good as with native ASIO drivers but they may enable you to try how it works.
Links to some of these drivers can be found on the installation page.

What is the project's status?

Needle dropping, pitching, scratching, back-spinning, reverse playing, ... are all working very well, as long as you have the right hardware.
The right hardware means a soundcard with ASIO drivers, a decent phono pre-amp and a FinalScratch vinyl.
Your computer should have a processor faster then 1Ghz, and 256MB for 1 deck or 2 decks mono, or 512MB RAM for 2 stereo decks.

Man I got HIGH! OUF!!! outch!... Never been that high in my life seriously!

Well I had a great time, I appologize if I scared anyone with my sentences that had no beginning or end.

From what I can recall, everyone was having a great time and I was too. This was a the Raviest of raves I've been too in a long time. The location was great (could have been a little biger on the dancefloor) but it worked out perfectly anyways. I would have enjoyed some really chill music downstairs tho.

Anyways smiles all around, what more can you ask for?

Good job guys and I hope your futur parties have as much success.

Now back to bed for the 3rd day in a row.... I sure beat up my body this time (I'm getting to old for this ;) )
