| Coolness: 129420 | Hey BubblegumPhantom, Practice will make perfect dude! It takes time.... Trick is, get some friends to start mixing with you man! There's nothing better to learn then to have people there with you to push you and to help you develop your technique. Alot of people don't even know where to start when they start mixing. Get the basics down then PRACTICE! Get to know your tracks, then get more (if you can afford it)... Skills are 1 thing, then it's all about track selection. Before you play out, you should be confortable with your arsenal! Also, listen to mixes by your favorite DJ's from montreal (Like Galaksy, Murdock, Host One ;) ) analyse their mixes and try and figure out why they sound good. Anyways I'm no expert, I just love mixing with my buds... |
