I took a stab at remixing the Beastie Boys' "It Takes Time to Build" off the 5 Burroughs album.

Give it a try if you like DnB!

I hope you enjoy.

It's fresh, fast, and pretty phat. Darker than the original, but still as fun.

Enjoy!

Peace

Got it. So it's not just me having trouble posting new tracks. It'll get fixed when it gets fixed! I can't wait...I got a new Beasties Remix that is pretty fat.

Also Nitrous, Aprime, Subtone, and Regimental are down!! And Fleck (aka San aka LD) is like our Bosnian Mascot. A Mascot that likes to vandalize things.

I didn't mean to neglect anyone! We're just getting warmed up.

As you can see there is a heavy representation by the DnB massive, mainly because I'm a transplant from the TO DnB crowd and it was the first community I found in MTL. I do want to represent more genres and subcultures so I spend a lot of time listening to demos and attending "foreign" parties! ;)

Lakester: Awesome 411 and links! Thanks!

Yeah, Tipsy is affiliated us. So is Galaksy, RCola, Sase1, Mana, Sarcastic, Mayday, Rue, Punani Bizness, Scotty P, Oliver Twisted, and RainForce to name a few. The school is created and we're only waiting for the Website to be completed before we're going to look for students. The schools primary source of income is subscriptions (its a 5 week program emphasizing different aspects of production and DJing, but people can sign up for single days if they only want to work on a specific skill like recording or mastering or VSTs).
Our other source of funding will be grants and federal endowments from governmental organizations like HSSRCC, the City of Montreal, and the Ministry of Education. We are seeking accredation from the Federal Government. But we definitely don't NEED their money! We have hella nice facilities already!!

Essentially we're roping in as many headliners and professionals from Montreal's music industry and having them give back to the future of our craft by teaching the techniques to a new generation, namely high school and uni students. It's an urban music boot camp for DJs and Producers, and we're growing into other disciplines like graff, dance, design.

We're working with a studio in town (StudioRange), Moog Audio, the SAT, and the Government to create a really insane school that can release records.

The website should up soon! Me and Somsay are still designing and I keep ending up outside of Montreal.

We're working on it. The advantage to throwing these parties "back in the day" was the cops didn't really know about it, and consequently they didn't know they should be looking out for them.
Now there's legislation on these kinds of events that make it really hard to find a location that can accomodate an event. You practically need a minor legal degree to know what you can and can't do because one fuck up means a record.
We need the geniuses to think of what's next.

Breakdancing in Bosnia is good! LD could lead the team.
The French do love to surrender! They'd also compete in the 200m Arrogance.
THe US has tried to recreate the German's 1940 World Record for "Rolling Over Desert Empires", but they've slipped up and are now trying to match their "Personal Best" in Occupying an Enemy You can't Defeat from Viet Nam 1968. Go Team America!
Canada still has it's lone bronze. It's gonna be one short Parade!

No, the money came from the corporations for research on their products, which are used as support for distribution rights granted by the federal government. The government's honorarium BARELY covers our house staff!

At this point, I am kidding!

Sharon...Who is your dad? There's several VPs at Merck-Frost. My father should know him cuz he's researching and authorizing new food and drug patents for the federal government and he consults a LOT with companies like Merck-Frost and Pfeizer. Your daddy might have paid for my University education and about 3 trips to Europe!!!

Obviously. Think about the logistics. How do you KNOW it's the guy? Physical description? Who are you to judge...etc...

You have to find them in the act, which is statistically slim, even if this is a full-on spree. But if you find a person in that situation, you have the moral right to kick ass at ones own risk.

And a good vigilante lets them live. Never kill a rapist. It's much more appropriate to land them in prison where they can learn what it's like to be raped.

Amen. I suppose it all reflects how serious or ambitious you are. A person who has a domain secured appears to have committed more to their business. Anyone can have a hotmail or gmail.
I mean, if you're a student, or applying for a job, their totally fine. But if you have your own business, why wouldn't you have your own domain?
Your business card is extremely important. People don't take you seriously without one.

I live in paradise. Dr. Penfield near McGill. Mostly profs and loaded foreign students, and it's far enough up the hill that I get an awesome view and the bumbs on Ste. Catherine give up before they make it to the top. I think I'm the biggest threat in the area.
But Montreal seems to pretty much kick ass everywhere. I maintain this is one of the world's greatest cities! bravo

Oliver, you got a good throwing arm, hence a good arm for dropping the beats on this fruitcake. Scott, good call on the knife. We're gonna need trophies. The human body has close to 3 dozen trophies that can be sliced off in a sec so everybody gets a piece. I don't want any ladies in the hostile zone, so Tardcore, you're the closest thing we got to a chick so you're bait. You get out and shake what yo mamma gave you and lure this predator in. Then trophies for everyone!
