in all seriousness, it's still important, for the sake of our scene, to at least try and hire DJs who know what they are doing. Too many hits to the notion of quality, including no deco, poor bathrooms, no bar, etc, will just make sure that some people never come back.
In the long run, worthwhile DJs will charge because in the real world, they will end up having better things to do then play at 4am for an hour for nothing.
I am not complaining, in fact I believe in what Noah does, which is why I accept to play no pay. But we've got to be careful, it's not 100% good to provide 'free partying', especially to really young kids who might be a tad more responsible in their choices if the real costs of life apply.
Nothing in life is free, and although I HATE that, we've got to live with it, as well as prepare our future adults for that truth. It's not hard to make a little bit of money, in fact, most of the time, making money means you're giving something to society in general, which is 100% necessary, whether you see that or not.
Money is more an idea that anything else, and in some ways, it does separate those who earn it from those who are always looking for a free ride.

Noah: I gotta say that you wouldn't get people destroying shit and causing as much damage if there was a decent door price. By eliminating the freeloaders, you're eliminating the people who don't actually give a shit about your party. I've always strongly believed that this is GREAT for the vibe. I mean, you only want people who want to be there to be there, right?

oh quake 3 rocks!! it's old so it'll run on any comp, not that mine couldn't handle anything with an intel 2 duo at 2.93ghz and 4gb of ram and an NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 with 256mb of vram.
