The police only got there on time because they had already been called in to check a drug situation out. They lucked out in other words. We know this guy is dead. What's important is reading about
him and why he came to be a murderer. We need to learn more
about this guy and others like him if we want to prevent
this from happening again.

So far:

- he was a reject possibly all his life
- he hated the very people who looked cool or "sport jocks"
- one guy on the news mentionned he wasn't killed because he
had given him "some attention" even though he passed by him
with a weapon. Instead he shot someone beside him who had
never given him any attention.

What is to be learned from this. The very people we push
away are the ones who most need our help to stay afloat.
Had he been close to the right people he could have had help.

This isn't in any way saying that we are at fault. He is
the one who did these actions. I'm just saying that each of
us in our own way we accepted that this guy becomes this and
now today we refuse to take our fair share of responsability
for it.
