I don't see how this is any more portable than a laptop today... no no no, we want something that fits is your pocket, a clamshell iphone would be a great start... even the iPad is too big... if you want a big screen, plug it in a home.... there's no such thing as a big portable screen whether you roll it up or smoke it or whatever...

I really have to say that their message only appeals to those with few brain cells remaining. Their action in no way shape or form will contribute towards reducing the extremely ambiguous 'negative' aspects they briefly mention.
Are they trying to reduce how much people drink? NO, they sell alcohol. No one will be forced to drink any less than before.
Are they trying to protect the site from broken glass? NO, they are banning all alcohol, not just bottles.
Are they trying to protect the party goers? NO, they're just trying to make sure they leave with less money.

So what, in the end, other than pure profit, are they trying to gain by doing this? Nothing.
