But how much room do you need for a simple studio? One big room should be more than enough to set up something killer. And it'll be cheaper and BETTER if there's more than one person involved. I realize that I am not being specific enough, I am NOT talking about a public studio, to the contrary I would be looking for MAX (maximum) 2 other people to set one up with. These would be SPECIFIC people and obviously there would be very strict rules on coming in and out with people, considering how expensive the equipment is. This would NOT be a party house and I would strongly discourage my 'partners' from even telling many people about where it is because, again, equipment is Fing expensive and I would never leave my stuff somewhere unless I feel it is absolutely 100% safe.
This is a mere opportunity to bring YOUR production to the next level by bringing in talent and equipment you have not had access to. If this works, it will be a place for learning, production and collaboration. Point Finale.
And if someone wants to live in the other room, all the better for keeping everything safe.

I am hoping that isolation of sound will not be an issue as it is LEGAL to play loud music during the day and just plain RUDE to blast it at night. Besides, I will mention again that this would not a party place so earphones are just as good for most of the creation process with plenty of time during the day to see how powerful your bass is.

We all need a place like this and keeping it to ourselves is somewhat unrealistic at this stage for some. That's why I'd love to collaborate on building a kick ass studio that we could really get things done in. Respect would be the name of the studio and it would be the first and only rule.
