I'm not going to lie, I've never 'enjoyed' that gut wrenching feeling from watching depressing movies. I don't need horror stories to make me appreciate my life, I know I'm lucky and I know I have to continue to work if I want to succeed and achieve my goals.
I am sorry for saying this, as I am not aiming at anyone, but I can't stand people who are constantly depressed; all they want is to make everyone around them feel just as shitty as they do. Happiness, generally, can only be achieved by gaining control of your own damn mind and somehow getting out of the spiral of depression. It's not easy to do, but life's not easy, life's not fair, deal with it.
Everyone gets depressed now and again and needs a shoulder, I don't mind being that shoulder, in fact I love to help others out. But I know one or two people who are digging their own grave deeper and deeper and deeper and blame everyone but themselves. Survival of the fittest I guess.

Sure, I have a lot to learn, who doesn't? Don't tell me I'm ignorant for wanting to stay positive by surrounding myself with positivity and eliminating the negative aspects of life. It's a choice that everyone makes for themselves.

Come to think of it, Requiem For A Dream was a great movie... I spoke too soon perhaps...
