| Description: | Built in 1949 and renovated in 1980, the Colisée Pepsi is a multi-purpose ampitheatre which can seat up to 15,000 spectators. Originally designed for professional hockey, it was home to the Quebec Citadelles in their heyday. At the end of the 1970s, the Quebec Nordiques of the National Hockey League became its permanent tenants: for over 15 years, they would be first-class ambassadors for Quebec's "Old Capital" all across North America. |
