For all those who ask me about Kali:

Kali is the goddess of destruction and as such one would assume her an evil force but as such she maintains the balance of creation for her destruction makes creation possible.

She is reverred by many as the creator of all, as pure energy, but she is also a force that stands against ignorance. Her pilosophy is truth, or more accurately, striving to achieve it. She wreaks havoc on the lives of humans so that they can learn new things. She is often portrayed in pictures holding a dismembered head. She is usually black with six arms and a pair of vampire teeth. She is considered as a fearful, rabid and sexual being.She is a symbol of the cycle of life and death.

"When She, the goddess, is dark, She is Devi Kalika, an equally high symbol of death and destruction.
Throughout Her different manifestations and phases, She remains the one true goddess, Shakti, energy itself.
She is symbolised by the yoni and the female cycle, which also shows waxing and waning throughout the month.
Her spouse, Shiva, is symbolised by the Sun, by the phallus, by sperm, and as an emblem of consciousness without attributes.
