The money raised will be used to fly them off to that western shore to show all of Canada what Ottawa has in its cultural pockets. [b]The Eats:[/b] -East India Company (210 Somerset - 613-567-4634) - with the companies best in Indian cuisine -Oz Cafe (361 Elgin Street - 613-234-0907) - bringing food from that land that will not be mentioned.....Oooo nevermind, The land of OZ! -Middle East Bakery (605 Somerset Street West - 613-238-7342) - with samplings of the cuisine of the Middle East.....including Zattar. [b]The Beats:[/b] Always free CD's to giveaway from Six Degrees Records and always swanky in house beats. 7-10pm beats w/ [i]Emily Jones[/i] [ ] E18hteen, Social) 10pm-???? beats w/ [i]Lance Baptiste[/i] [b]Vernissage:[/b] [i]DASER[/i] great things have been done by him (namely ART) and better things have been said about him by better writers than me. [b]Special Performance:[/b] Once again.......the [i]Capital Slam Poetry Collective[/i] finalists will be on hand to satisfy your literary needs and desires, with the likes of Kevin Mathews, Steve Sauve, DJ Morales, and John Akpata.
