Description: | Legend has it that a band of lost vikings roamed the high seas of Lake Winnipeg pillaging the small encampments that dotted the coastline. These vikings would, as a cultural pass time, cut up and rearrange beets into complex patterns. They would then sell these beets at the local bazaar every Sunday. With each Sunday the vikings would come up with more and more complex beets that would wow the locals. The legend continues that this tradition has lived on, passing down from generation to generation. Venetian Snares is the last remaining descendant of these lost vikings.
