This special night marks Marco’s first performance in Montreal in over 8 years, making it an unmissable occasion for techno enthusiasts. Known for his relentless energy and boundary-pushing sound, Marco Bailey has shaped the global techno landscape through his iconic labels MB Elektronics and Materia, consistently championing raw, powerful, and innovative music. In recent years, Marco Bailey has continued to evolve his sound while staying true to his roots, drawing inspiration from a wide range of musical influences and embracing new technologies in the studio and on stage. His dedication to innovation and artistic integrity has solidified his status as a timeless icon in the realm of electronic music. As he looks towards the future, Marco Bailey remains as passionate and driven as ever, with an unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of techno and inspiring the next generation of artists and aficionados alike. Crudo Collective: Toltech Introducing Toltech: Montreal-Based Techno DJ and Producer Exploring Toltec Culture Through a Diverse Techno Spectrum Disciple of the old-school Montréal techno scene, he seamlessly blends Mesoamerican influences with a spectrum of techno styles, from hypnotic, industrial and raw to funky and hardgroove. His music guides listeners through a range of moods, from somber, hypnotic rhythms to vibrant grooves such as that, before you know it, has gotten your body to move. Innovative Sound and Influences Inspired by the cosmopolitan ideals of the Toltec civilization, Toltech's sound transcends conventional techno boundaries. His productions feature intricate rhythms and atmospheric textures, drawing listeners into a world where ancient wisdom meets pulsating electronic beats. Established Presence in Montreal Toltech's illustrious career includes performances at Montreal's most renowned venues, including legendary afterhours clubs like Gravity, Circus, and Aria. He’s shared stages with local industry luminaries such as Pheek, Mateo Murphy & Indica, as well as international artists like Lenny Dee, The Horrorist, and Patrick DSP, cementing his reputation as a versatile artist capable of energizing any dance floor. Technical Expertise Renowned for his technical prowess, Toltech possesses the rare ability to master any sound system, whether high-end or rugged and uncooperative. His skills ensure that every performance delivers optimal sound quality and energy, regardless of the venue's challenges. Artistic Evolution and Achievements Following a period of creative hibernation, Toltech returned with a renewed focus on digital production, building on his mastery of vinyl mixing and music theory. His catalog boasts a diverse array of original tracks released on esteemed labels such as No Fun Intended and its sub label No Fun In Techno, based in the United States. Co-founder of Techno Crudo Collective (Instagram: @technocrudo), a new Montreal collective dedicated to pushing the boundaries of underground electronic music. Through Techno Crudo, Toltech aims to foster a community of like-minded artists and enthusiasts while promoting innovative and inclusive cultural experiences. Xaviera of Prohibition Agency: Since her debut in 2018, Xaviera has transmitted her passion with contagious energy, exploring a wide range of sounds. Well known on the scene for her hardtechno sets, Xaviera also likes to navigate between hypnotic, hardgroove and acid atmospheres, offering performances that are both unpredictable and impactful. Born in Montreal, Xaviera embodies a true local talent. She has been seen performing in iconic clubs like Stereo, as well as on the stage of major festivals, such as Piknic Électronik and Igloofest, where she shared the bill with world-renowned artists such as Nico Moreno, I Hate Models, Alignment, LESSSS, Chlär and many others. A resident of Prohibition since 2024, Xaviera has established herself as an essential figure in the collective, multiplying performances and constantly exploring new sonic horizons. Her eclecticism and her ability to surprise make her an artist in perpetual evolution, always looking for new ways to captivate her audience. Vault Sessions - Michael Bravo: Dj/ Producer originally from Quito, Ecuador. Part of his life he lived in France, which marked the beginning of his musical career. Currently, he resides in Quebec City where he’s carrier has taken him to other level. Also creating his collective The Vault has made him more known. Before he used to reside in Ecuador where he has taken DJ/music production courses at academies in Ecuador such as Ear Catcher and Bassick Lab and in the United States at Point Blank.He has also developed skills in different cultural areas, among them; culinary art that he applies daily in his work. His musical selection seeks to maintain a high vibe among the public through distorted acoustic sounds playing with effects and melodies. His purpose is for dance to become a medicine. Michael has shared the booth with big artists like Charlotte de Witte, Artbat, Yokoo and Anja Schneider. Crudo Collective - THOMPSON: Known for his intense and hypnotic techno, Thompson’s sound is driven by raw, powerful basslines that captivate dancefloors. With a decade of experience performing at festivals and clubs across Quebec, he has refined his style into a uniquely immersive experience. As a co-founder of Techno Crudo Collective, he’s dedicated to pushing the local scene forward, curating high-quality events that spotlight both emerging talent and international heavyweights such as Milo Raad and now Marco Bailey! Crudo Collective - VIKE KING: A true veteran of Montreal’s underground, Vike King’s sound is deeply influenced by the legendary clubs that shaped the city’s techno scene—SONA and ARIA. It was on those dance floors that he first experienced the raw power of techno, where hypnotic grooves and pounding rhythms became the foundation of his style. With festival performances at Burning Moon 2019 and Festivalys 2023, club residencies, and web radio shows on Krac Radio, La Face B, and Maximix Radio, Vike King continues to shape the scene. He also curates a monthly night at Bar La Shop, where his mission is to showcase as much local talent as possible, creating a platform for emerging artists to be heard and celebrated. We’ve chosen the ESC Facility for this monumental event, a venue renowned for its state-of-the-art VOID sound system, designed to deliver unparalleled sonic clarity and depth. The space’s immersive lighting and audiovisual setup will elevate the night into a full sensory experience. To make Marco’s set even more unforgettable, we’re adding an exclusive layer of lighting effects—activated only during his performance—turning the space into a visual spectacle fitting perfectly with his driving techno sound.
