| Description: | Starvin Hungry is the brainchild of once-Torontonian John Milchem who set out to recruit new members after his arrival in Montreal in 2000. Drummer Spencer Warren (ex Line Three) would come first, followed by an impressed Eric Larock, just out of Tricky Woo and soon after, guitarist Scott Mucklow. Larock would leave earlier this year to rejoin the Woo, passing on his duties to Soft Canyon bassist Dave Lavoie. Their debut album "Damnesty" (GREN014) (produced by Jonathan Cummins of Bionic-fame) is a record of ferocious rock & roll energy (The Stooges, The Gun Club, Motorhead, The Velvet Underground and John Lee Hooker) and tight-nailed-to-the-floor burning fire.
