Info: | Artist Biographies WISP Reid Dunn, known as Wisp, started writing music on his computer in 1999. Fueled by boredom, and the depressing state of Niagara Falls NY, Wisp makes music that reflects an introverted Dungeons and Dragons nerd, filled to the brim with epic melodies and caffeine driven beats. With an arsenal of mp3 releases under his belt, Wisp stays up all night eating Cheetos, drinking Mountain Dew, and writing music. If he ever gets around to changing his sweaty star wars t-shirt, he will also release a real album or two. BELLADONNAKILLZ Formed in 2002, belladonnakillz has been catching attention since the very start. Blending great songwriting with killer electronic production and live show that rocks, nine inch nails and prodigy would be proud of this act. With the debut album, perverted & proud released on dross:tik records and several vinyl singles arriving on the famous kniteforce label, not including the remix and production work done for tigerbeat6 and industrial strength records, and a massive licensing deal with 3rd movement in holland, this is a hot band with hits on their hands. SINCERE TRADE One might begin describing Toronto electronic musician, Sincere Trade (Carl Heindl) as music for films. Films about concrete buildings, human achievement, and exploding computer factories. That's the only thing that really comes to mind when trying to classify such a rich combination of musical genres and styles. Without sounding like too much of a musical mish-mash, Heindl's music is both emotional and powerful, yet still very catchy and danceable: He's created something new. With a knack for twisted and crunchy skipping percussion, and a love for warm and dirty vintage synthesizers, his music never ceases to inspire. Amongst a wash of dark yet warm melodies, drums seem to just swell, explode, and splatter over his creation, leaving a beautiful mess. HERE'S MY CARD RECORDS "Before I would just upload my stupid music to the internet. Now I make business card cds and force people to buy them." - Skeeter Here's My Card Records is a new label that exclusively releases business card cds. 5 minutes of music for $2. As people's leisure time is quickly eaten away by the capitalistic hegemonic behemoth death machine leaving people with enough time to mow the lawn or do their laundry. Coupled with the complete oversaturation of all media has led to a bit of dilemma. The desired result of A (music) reaching B (music listener) is now close to impossible. Relying on the belief in an undergroud music utopia where quality rules over quantity just does not cut it any longer. Here's My Card Records operates on a formula that successful negates this dilemma. That formula is Quick and Cheap.
