| Info: | The bill this year features a "who's who" of emerging talents in Montreal's arts communities. Imagery will appear in the form of video installations by Chanti Wadge and Louis Plourde, with photography by Shaun Balbar and pottery by Adele Reese. Choreographic works by Caroline Laurin-Beaucage, Stephen Thompson, Sarah Hanley, Jessica Runge, Tracey McNeil and Erin Flynn will be presented. Planted People is an incarnation of the dance improvisation group Instant. The collective will compose their performance in a 1/2 hour set with sound on a multi-speaker diffusion system. Music will be performed by electroacoustic group Vertex: Andrew Watson & Nicolas Basque and local rockers Plants & Animals. DJ Scott C will provide the soundtrack for the dance floor at the end of the night. The second annual Pixel Projects promises a stimulating environment, exposure to new talent and art that is serious fun. |
