Vinyl Republik proudly presents its debut release, Pete Samples, "An Unsent Letter" Pete Samples will be performing a live set featuring music from the new CD as well as new unreleased material. Pete Samples: Taking residence in Montreal, Pete Samples is a young and talented producer that has spent the last few years perfecting his craft as a sample artist and solo instrumentalist. Pete, who plays the guitar, the piano, and the turntables combined with his sample driven grooves, creates a diverse recording that is fueled by hip hop, jazz and rock influences. His most recent live performances have already created a buzz amongst insiders of Winnipeg's down tempo scene... Other DJ's for the evening include: Brace - DMC Champ! Li'l Phil - deep house phenomenon Nathan Zahn - hypnotic house Disco Kitty - sexy house Sisk - electro house Phaze M - deep tech + a few surprises !
