| Info: | This year we have newspaper columnist, radio host and poet, John Akpata as host of the 2004-2005 Mercury Lounge New Years Party. Colored by Mr. Akpata's funky wordplay, the evening will include performances by the Elissar Hanna Jazz Trio and dancers Mizuki Hoshino and Mary Catherine Jack. Later, Mr. Akpata on Djembe, will be joined by Dr. Lee and Emanuel Printemps. Djs Lance Baptiste, Trevor Walker, Magnificent and Jeffrey Leprat promise to keep you movin' and grovin' throughout the evening. Enjoy foods by Botega and champagne at midnight. Doors at 8pm Jazz Trio at 9pm Dance performance at 10pm Dj's. Before between and after; Tickets are 20 dollars in adv. 25 dollars before 10pm More after..... |
