| Description: | Narrativ teams up with Outsiders to introduce its first international character. As far as storytelling goes, Hicham is an outstanding narrator. His sets are carefully curated trips, drawing parallels between cinema and dance music. Picture vivid layers of analog warmth, synthetic drive, and evocative vocals. Closely connected to Brussels' underground community, Hicham will guide us through a selection of lesser-known digs and timeless cuts over 4 hours. With Elastique Audio's Danley rig at his disposal, he’ll keep the vibe going in a foggy, dimly lit Chinatown basement. Joining us fresh from her recent European excursions, Leef, a familiar face in Montreal's underground, will unpack raw and refined sounds spanning decades. Matt Brancatella, founder of the long-lasting Outsiders series (and host of one of Hicham's early podcasts), is also returning from a tour across the pond, ready to add his mystery music to the mix. Completing the lineup, Narrativ’s schemers, Mestizo & Moaad BKR, will set the stage and close it out. |
