The event, dubbed M3 (Marathon Three), will focus on raising financial support and awareness for The Hearing Foundation and its initiatives. Scheduled to begin on Friday September 7 at Chelsea room at 923 Dundas St West in Toronto, M3 is expected to broadcast the non-stop 50+ hour event live over the Internet.
The Hearing Foundation of Canada was formed in 1979 to raise money for programs that improve the lives of more than 3 million deaf, deafened and hard-of-hearing Canadians. To date, more than $20 million has been raised by the Foundation and dedicated to such programs as public awareness, medical research and services. |
