| Description: | LAL's eighth album and audio-visual project, SPECTACULAR, brings together the incredibly talented artists Rosina Kazi and Nicholas Murray. With over 25-years of the duo's history. Their beats and melodies can charm the most cynical, so that the lyrics of anger, sadness and possibility can worm their way deep inside. SPECTACULAR is a beautifully intimate and cathartic show. Opening the night, Bianca Supercell aims to drown out the crap with their maximalist dreamy-noisy songs, in an attempt to get to the heart of the matter. And DahL, an experimental pop outfit based in Montreal whose music combines elements of 90's trip hop, post-punk, and art rock. Their music creates a foundation of syncopated rhythm and sonic texture to form fluid structures that catches the audience off guard. |
