| Info: | We are proud to present the culmination of an organic community building effort that is the Flaps off the Side of the Moon Festival. A 3 day gathering bringing together everyone and their Mother in celebration of Earth, culture, creative expression, fellowship, & respect. Experience a mixture of musical soundscapes from mind blowing local and international talent featured on three main stages that include goa / psy trance, jam bands and breakbeats / hip-hop and reggae. We also invite you to enjoy a variety of captivating workshops and theatrical presentations. The festival is a non-profit initiative, with your contribution returning to the community organizations involved and benefiting a number of charities. Journey with us to the fairgrounds of Killaloe and flap your moon under the full groove. Children's Area 12 and under get in free, supervised area includes: crafts, theatre, & a bouncy tent!!  | » Corey_K said @ Wed Mar 7, 2007 @ 1:43am me and mike (stabba) drove forever in rawa's car to find this place, after going 45mins the wrong way and having locals not even know where this ridiculous town was, we got to this really strange outdoor fesitval. small sound system. small crowd. what to do? we got drunk and rode around on kids tricycles. if anyone can find the photos i'll be your best friend. making out own food in the 'community kitchen' was hilarous and the drive home in the morning on no sleep was hell. i love you mike. |
