| Description: | ferias & zamalek come together for an alllll night fam jam 'til sunrise in the kitchen we are thrilled to welcome the mexican maestro soos to montreal for his first ferias funktion. he's an absolute gem of a human & one of our favorite deejays on planet earth. as a bedrock of mexico city's flourishing scene, soos has a real knack for building community, and we're thrilled to welcome him for an alllll night montreal movement. soos can also rock it in studio, and his ep with mule musiq is a true masterpiece. resident advisor said it well : "at least going by his records, soos seems like an extremely chill dude. he makes a style of unhurried, vaguely tropical dance music that seems designed for a beach chair and a cocktail with an umbrella in it. it's unmistakably retro, but in a timeless and creative way. soos makes the kind of dance music that any fan of any genre could enjoy—and I mean that as the highest compliment possible." and there's more... jumpstarting the jam will be emiliano chamandy from the fellas q-tips, before zamalek's aram provides the peak-time pearls. to wind things down, ferias' alina & guthrie soundtrack the sunrise session. come early, and stay very very late. byob + zamalek bar |
