Description: | [100% DUBSTEP - 100% LIVE - ONLY 5$] Chapter One : "A bridge between french and montreal live dubsteppaz" [ www.facebook.com ] [NIVEAU ZERO] (FR) - Ad Noiseam, Dest Pub, Lutetia Dubz -------------------------------------------------- ------ [ www.myspace.com ] An eclectic producer, HxC bassist gone through the hip hop and drum n bass scenes, Niveau Zero knows how to mix his various influences into a tricky yet efficient sound. Electronica, abstract hiphop, dubstep and rock : here are the main ingredients of a hearty recipe. This amazingly openminded music lover delivers a taste of massive and melodic electronic music, a synthesis of all the genres that made his personality, from warp artists to today's dubstep bangers. Elected best electro new comer in 2008 by French biggest festival Printemps de Bourges in 2008, he just released a couple of fat dubstep EPs on label Destpub and Expressillon, and he s one of the leading producers in french Dubstep scene. But it's not all about dubstep. Niveau Zero might play strictly dubstep serato sets as a DJ, his live performances shall not be reduced to a single genre. These sets may start with an ambient track, and end in an explosion of electronic metal breaks. The guy has shared the scene with Noisia, Reso, Antipop Consortium, Broken Note, Rotator & many more.. His new & fresh album out, Niveau Zero will show us all his featuring collaborations in a Heavy Dubstep, hip-hop, metal and breaks liveset... Niveau Zero @ Glazzart : [ www.youtube.com ] Niveau Zero - First feat The Unik : [ www.youtube.com ] [MANYGANCES] (FR) - Volca Records ---------------------------------- [ soundcloud.com ] "Happy Rock'n'Roll DubStepper"...this is how you can call ManyGanCes. This 10 years producer of electronic music is the head of the VOLCA RECORDS label (exclusively on vinyl production) to promote this so special kind of bouncing the dancefloor. Live performance in soul, he is able to intermingle genres from classical like Beethoven to Edith Piaff French songs, his woblz productions hammer out a clear message: old school tube + bass = moment of happiness! Big red or Busta Rhymes accapellas can attest, once installed on this prods buttock-stirring, vibration you stick to the stomach, stomp your feet and want to cry is no longer waiting to see ... and taste immédiatly .... ManyGanCes @ Pocoloco : [ www.youtube.com ] La Foule, Edith Piaff - ManyGanCes Remix : [ www.youtube.com ] [WALLY] (MTL) - Monkey Dub --------------------------- [ soundcloud.com ] Wally is a montral dubstep dj/producer & THE promoter of the Forward's parties. In less than two years Forward Thursday's has had the chance to welcome a wide-range of artists such as Loetech, Sixtoo, DZ, Datsik, Spor and Plastician, to name a few. In 2009, Wally moved into dubstep production. The goal of his craft is simple, to bring fresh new sounds that wreck the dancefloor without alienating the uninitiated. He takes great pride in showing that dubstep is neither laid back chilling music nor repetitive wobbles on syncopated rhythms. Dubstep is better off undefined and unclassified. [META.B] (MTL) - Monkey Dub ------------------------------------- [ soundcloud.com ] I grew up in Africa, “Mogo” from Ivory coast. I came back in Marseille, Europe, in 1997 to discover the explosion of sound systems. I considarate myself as a true Shaka ites !!! I dedicate my life to sound system culture. I was introduced to “groovebox sounds and live experimentations” thanks to them. Big up to Boom Shakalaka sound system, Iration Steppas sound system, Jah World tubby sound system, King Shiloh sound system, Musical Riot sound system … and then I was introduce to the techno/dnb. In 2003 I bought my first gear, a Korg electribe, and started to make my own productions. I was really influenced by the sounds I was listening in Ivory Coast: Alpha Omega, Russ D, Jonah Dan, Steve Mosco, Doogie Wardrop, Mark Iration, Denis Rooticall, Jacin, The Scientist, Jah Shaka and of course the big master Mad Professor. Now I’m living in Montréal and I’m still making my own sound, mixing uk stepper, dubstep, jungle, dnb … or whatever you can call it, techno music. [GEOFF BUCHANAN] (MTL) - Monkey Dub ------------------------------------ [ soundcloud.com ] Geoff “Bukk” Buchanan, known for having a certain preference in music varying from countless and publically unheard-of styles, voices his ideas and thoughts through the seemingly simple concept of music. Simple always felt too complicated. This he figured out after his big hip-hop phase in his early teens when he discovered something called metal. Being a guitar player since the age of 9, he put his instruments to work. In 2006 he met up with fellow musicians upon his move to Montreal from Quebec City. Performing in metal/hardcore bands as guitarist, he and the other band members played in local Montreal venues including Reggie’s and Club Soda. Never satisfied with only sticking to one groove and sound, exploring the underground European garage scene brought him to discovering his musical calling through what some people would consider to be dubstep. Whatever anyone calls it, Geoff merges aggressive tones with delicate ambiances and catchy melodies. [YANKAT] (MTL) - Cruz Control, Quadbyte, Monkey Dub -------------------------------------------------- --- [ soundcloud.com ] Yankat has discovered electronic music with the "free parties" all across Europe. Quickly he was interested by djing and then producing. His work his a mix between techno, electro and dubstep, and are construted around solid basslines, hint of acid and jump up riddims. Yankat is also an active member of Cruz Control. [ cruzcontrol.org ] [VJing by VISUAL FENEX] (MTL) ----------------------------- |
