This umbrella term encompasses dubstep, b-more, liquid funk, breaks, neurofunk, dancehall, reggae, mash-up, electro, grime, booty house, jungle, trip hop, breakcore, ghetto tech, big beat, jump-up, drum’n’bass, tech-step, liquid funk, garage, bassline house.

Only in the Dubstep scene a short time, 21 year old Datsik
(aka. Troy B.) has wasted no time by making his presence
known internationally, introducing his own unique style of
industrial ,futuristic beats and heavy stomping rhythms.
His latest successes on Beatport are a testament to his
popularity with listeners worldwide, with multiple releases
hitting number 1. It is possible that he is the first dubstep
artist to ever hold 5 of the top 10 best selling tunes at the
same time on Beatport. He has also earned the attention
of artists such as Bassnectar, Skream, DJ Craze, Rusko,
Ed Solo, and DZ, to name a few. With Rottun Recordings
behind him, he has been hard at work, making many new
tunes, collaborations and remixes for some of the biggest
names in the world.
In a genre with increasing popularity, he continues to
devote his time and energy into pioneering a distinct
sound that will transform it to the next level, and set him
above the rest. He has demonstrated his skills time and
time again to packed audiences, on each occasion
leaving them in a state of disbelief.

Straight outta the northern lands of Deux-Montagnes...
Initially influenced by hip hop acts such as KRS One, Native Tongues, Gangstarr, Jeru tha damaja., He began to pursue a hip hop scratch dj status in 97. With the newer generation of "Shit-Hop" emerging from numerous hip hop labels, he became frustrated, fed up, and discontinued purchasing hip hop vinyls altogether.

Still producing hip hop instrumentals, and working with local MC's, Dj Dialect was still unsatisfied with the current "scene" until his first visit to the afterhours. An easy convert to the Break Beat sound, Dialect blends the precision skills of turntablism with an ear for the underground electronic music community. Dialect can be heard spinnin' "erectro, real skool breaks, dirty disco, whore-house, fist funk and more.
