His involvement with major Canadian electronic production companies Old School and Delphinus allowed him to get behind the decks and demonstrate his romping style of Techno and Tech Trance. His musical career did not end there. Throughout the music production outlet, Preach has recorded top quality music with Default Recordings, Symbolism Recordings, Ascend Recordings, Edit Recordings, Session Recordings, Mbelektornics Recordings, Traction Recordings and ITURNEM Recordings formaly known as Relentless Music. All major labels shipped worldwide via the well known Distribution companies: Prime and Neuton. His production style is inspired by Ben Sims, Tim Xavier, Yaz, Nivoc, Henrik B, Andrei Morant, Mateo Murphy and many other Canadian and world scene builders. By performing across the American Continent, Preach has landed a Friday night residency at the infamous ARIA after-hours club in Montreal, Canada. With an already solid reputation as a dance floor destroyer, Preach intends to spread the good word of techno in a global way by using his music as his weapon of choice. His first release on Ascend Recordings came out in fall 2001, and was reviewed in the November issue of MUSIK MAGAZINE. Also, on Default Recordings he produced the "Performance M.F. EP" wich was canned by the likes of BEN SIMS, TIM XAVIER, MATEO MURPHY and MICHEL DE HEY, just to name a few, and was reviewed in MIXER MAGAZINE by MARK EG in the January 2002 issue. His latest release on ITURNEM has been described as floor filling killer by the likes of Carl Cox. Preach has been named as the "Future DJ Heroes" by reknown MISTRESS BARBARA in the DJ MAGAZINE TOP 100 edition. He performed along side the world's best DJs Carl Cox, Sandra Collins, Monika Kruse, Mauro Picotto, Chris Liebing, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Henrik.B, Adam Beyer, Steve Stoll, Thomas Schumacher, Danilo Vigorito, Gaetano Parisio, The Advent, Ben Sims, Marco V, Luke Slater, Steve Porter, Misstress Barbara, Tall Paul, Guy Ornadel, Johan Gielen, Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk and Space DJZ just to name a few. It makes sense since, over the past ten years, this city has become a haven of remarkable and talented DJs and producers who truly cultivate the art of mixing. Yaz is among its pioneers. Aside from feeding the flourishing local scene with fresh vinyl from his essential techno record shop, this ambassador has also been one of the most skilled DJs Montreal has to offer. For the past ten years, this vinyl junkie has been perfecting his art and developing a noticeable style. The ex-resident of the most infamous after-hour club Sona and the current resident of Montreal's newest after hour, the ARIA nightclub constructs his sets as a griot would tell a story: percussion, textures and harmony intertwine in a symphony of "tribal-groovy-funky-tech" music, as Yaz slowly opens all doors of perception to bring you where feelings tickle your guts with surprising intensity. In this flourishing Montreal production scene. As the co owner of Edit Recordings, his intent is to push the Montreal sound forward, thus helping in the making of Montreal as well known hub for quality techno productions LOVENHASHEKSPARTS [ Freelance, GUNZ & BOMZ, REM 89.1FM CHUO ] OTTAWA'S PREMIERE TECHNO MACHINEST With LNBP out of the show due to scheduling conflicts, We're sending in our techno masta HASHEK to blow em away at the witching hour for celestial 2... his mixing skills are unmatched by ANYONE we have seen... prepare for a good show R-TYPE [ Studio Archetype, LIVE PROGRESSIVE PA ] DAN MEDLAND [ RhythmWorks, Onaversal, 4-Play ] Its also Dan's B-day - You people know what to do, get this man as trashes as legally allowed!
