BOMBAMAN <TO>
BADMAN PRESS || DIM MAK || LA DUBSTEP NOSTRA || FRESH KID
[ www.myspace.com ]
Bombaman aka one half of the dubstep duo Loetech with XI from Toronto
As Kid Kameleon put it in his column "Basic Needs" in the December 2007 issue of XLR8R, he makes dark, weird, boundary pushing music for you to meditate to in a club with large speakers. These days he is working on making sure his beats live up to that expectation. Always looking for a new way to mangle sub bass, you can find him pushing out new music every week in the form of 4/4, electro tinged dubstep. With forthcoming releases on Nightshifters, Hot n Heavy and Sub Philo, and releases already available on Lo Dubs, Aufect Recordings, Dim Mak and Big Dada you can be sure there is a Bombaman sound suited to you.
Working with XI for the past four years producing music and performing on their radio show Loetech Radio courtesy of SUB.FM, he has traveled across North America including Chicago, San Francisco, Montreal, Vancouver and New York in search for the perfect sound system.
You can hear Crookers, Rusko, Diplo, 12th Planet, DZ, Starkey, Stenchman, the Trouble & Bass crew and many other top shelf DJ's playing his music these days, so keep an ear to ground, he might be in your city next.

DIALECT <MTL>
Straight outta the northern lands of Deux-Montagnes...
Initially influenced by hip hop acts such as KRS One, Native Tongues, Gangstarr, Jeru tha damaja., He began to pursue a hip hop scratch dj status in 97. With the newer generation of "Shit-Hop" emerging from numerous hip hop labels, he became frustrated, fed up, and discontinued purchasing hip hop vinyls altogether. Still producing hip hop instrumentals, and working with local MC's, Dj Dialect was still unsatisfied with the current "scene" until his first visit to the afterhours. An easy convert to the Break Beat sound, Dialect blends the precision skills of turntablism with an ear for the underground electronic music community. Dialect can be heard spinnin' "Drugstep, Bassline Erectro, Real Skool Breaks, Dirty Disco, Whore-House, and Fist Funk. "

PANDEMIC (Capital Bass Culture)(Ottawa)
Pandemic is the driving force behind Capital Bass Culture, and is one of Ottawa's longest serving dubstep DJ's. His roots in the bass community go back almost 10 years, and he was involved in bringing the dubstep sound to Ottawa for the first time. He's played the supporting DJ role for events that include headliners such as MRK1, Starkey, Breakage, DZ, and Bombaman, just to name a few. He has a few productions with bowzer, and they had a release together recently for Ale Fillman’s Dirty Circuit Records. Currently a resident and lead promoter of Ottawa's longest running dubstep night, Steppin Up, Pandemic brings a raw mix of vinyl and mp3 together which is guaranteed to convert anyone into a dubstep follower.

BASS MACHINES <OTT>
These guys have been moving fast quickly climbing up the ranks in the ottawa scene with razor sharp sets consisting of an eclectic selection of genres. Ranging from Electro/Breaks/Dubstep/Techno but with a heart pulsating with Fidget blood.

MC Caesar [KJ 613, GME, Scartown Massive, B.H.C]
MC Caesar is back once again to ensure that all runs lively on the stage in the Capital City. He has been putting in work in the 416 for the past few months, but never misses a chance to come back and touch down for the massive in his second home of Ottawa. He has been hard at work these last few years, not only doing live shows around Ontario and Quebec, but also slaving in the studio on various projects. One of these projects is with a pair of performers also featured on this bill, by the name of the Bass Machines. This night will feature the EXCLUSIVE debut of their new single collaboration with Caesar entitled 'Rising Star'. Come be the first to hear what these crazy beat chemists have created!
