| Description: | Akousmas opening evening features two concerts approaching sound space in two very different ways. From Sweden, BJNilsen overlays electronic materials and field recordings to compose fictive spaces. He will be presenting a world premiere: the new surround version of his work The Short Night. Then, Theresa Transistor will return to its birthplace, the Monument-National, to inhabit it with their sophisticated spatialization work. This is a very special concert since, for the first time, this until-then improv quartet will present a work made from pre-set structural elements.
