In the club's early 90's heyday, the versatile GEE kept delirious audiences going through spinning at Limelight's "FutureShock" dance/techno nights and performing with his live band as well as spinning at the club's "Rock And Roll Church" metal/ rock/ industrialnights. The crowds kept coming back to Limelight, just like they did and continue to in Australia, Japan, Italy, Spain, Scotland, Austria, Hungary and Belgium to name a few. The sound is 100% Rob GEE, which means eclectic, unexpected and completely unique. John "Jellybean" Benitez's residency at The Funhouse Club in Manhattan had fulfilled the job of inspiring a whole new generation to take the sound of dance music well into the future and beyond. One of these disciples went by the name of Omar Santana. Straight outta the borough of Queens in New York, Omar slowly began to make a name for himself by DJ'ing as part of the Dynamic Rockers crew, putting on jams, sound-battles and creating a solid underground vibe to rock the city with. Through this, Omar started linking up with likes of Arthur Baker as well as the Tommy Boy and Sleeping Bag Records camps. This led on to much studio action as he started producing in a big way and during the '80's worked alongside some of the true sound pioneers like Mantronix, Boogie Boys, T la Rock and Stetsasonic. The man was now on a proper roll and going from strength to strength by editing and remixing such artists as Public Enemy, Janet Jackson, Simply Red, Quincy Jones and The Rolling Stones. The list is endless... Omar was in serious demand and very quickly became known as one of the "Editing Kings" who would consequently stand the test of time as an inspiration for all future warriors in the trade of cut-up beats and sound. The time had come for Omar to create an outlet for his material, so H2oh Recordings the came into being, releasing it's own brand of Hardcore Flava, the label built up a strong reputation for itself and such was it's success that a sister label by name of Tricked Out Recordings was brought into operation to concentrate and add even greater ammunition to the audio warfare in beats that was going on inside his head by setting the agenda for the Hard Hop/breaks sounds in America. [ www.facebook.com ] DELTA 9 .Delta 9! Unleashing devastating audio destruction since the early 90's. Delta 9 first started releasing his music on Drop Bass Network and soon after started working with Industrial Strength Records, which quickly gained him worldwide recognition. A veteran producer and seasoned DJ of all things "hard as nails", Delta 9 is one of the most revered names in hardcore techno, speedcore and noise. While playing all over the U.S., at massive raves or underground warehouse parties, in the early 90's, Delta 9 has also been invited time and time again, to play at some of the biggest events in Europe and all over the world. Considered by many to be one of the real innovators of hardcore techno in the U.S., Delta 9 is responsible for a multitude of classic tracks, has over 40 solo 12 inch releases and has appeared on over 200 compilations including the Thunderdome series, Hellraiser, Third Movement's Demolition, the Mysteryland series, the Masters of Hardcore compilations, and many more. He has also done remixes for such bands as Napalm Death, Corrosion of Conformity, Soil and recently for speedcore monsters The Berzerker. 2008 has now seen the launch of his new label, Devil Times Nine, which shows Delta 9's commitment to releasing quality hardcore and speedcore, bred in the streets of Chicago. [ www.facebook.com ] NICKY TWIST Nicky Twist has been considered by many as a prodigy when he steps up to the decks. He quickly started mastering the art of scratching, mixing and turntablism as a teenager and found himself falling in love with the craft. Soon after, he began his journey playing across the continent in such cities as Vancouver, Calgary, Saskatoon, Ottawa,Florida, South Carolina, NY, NJ, and countless other places including a tour in 2002 through Canada. Nicky has also played in the famous Tunnel,Limelight, and Exit in NYC throughout his early 20's and soon became a staple of the Northeastern Rave Circuit. Now at 31, He's a seasoned professional when he rips it with his DMC tricks and unique scratching patterns that very few DJs can touch. From the time he was a child he's been a musician and he can play almost any instrument handed to him. Influencing his sound by playing throughout the states Nicky began developing his production skill in early 2004. Picked up in just a few short years by Visionary Mindz recordings and AudioFase Recordings in 2006, Nicky made trial runs on releasing his first MP3 Formatted Tunes. Seeing moderate success and fine tuning his tastes, Nicky picked up by beginning his own label with Fellow partner Mikey Parkay in 2009. Nicky Twist's talents were recognized by Legendary Rob GEE, so much that Rob invited Twist to become part of the ROB GEE Band. Nicky Twist brings the same flair behind the ones and two's as part of this powerful Sextet stomping across The Globe. The year has just Started but be prepared for an onslaught of future releases from this Rising Talent..
