| Description: | -------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------- TUESDAY APRIL 6th ---------------------- RILLY GUILTY [usual suspects saturdays/blue dog, salon officiel] -------------------------------------------------- ---------------------- Guilty has spent the last couple years and change ripping up any dance floor available no matter how late night, or early morning for that matter. Though most know him as a house DJ (and we’re talking REAL house, not any supperclub type bullshit) he’s got a musical knowledge and technical skill set that allows him to rep hard no matter what the genre. The only thing we love more than a tight DJ that has a music obsession bordering on illness is one who additionally refrains from letting himself be put in any sort of box. He also dances in a manner that assures he was positively a large, soulful black man in another life….. and no, that’s not racist therefore yes, that it is funny. JONNY JUNGLE [blizzards via hawaii] ----------------------------------------- While we’ve all been enjoying the sea saw shit fest that is Montreal as the weather changes from cold to warm and wet to dry (hasn’t this been AWESOME you guys?!), Jonny boy decided to kick a hole in the speaker, bail and go fuck around in Hawaii for a month or so. Yeah, that’s right, all this time he’s been drinking drinks out of weird pieces of fruit, surfing in the ocean every day and just generally being awesome at life. Still, his conscience got to him (you can take the Junglist out the Jungle, but you can’t take the Jungle out the Junglist) and he decided to say AHOLA* to the islands and bring some sunshine back to Montreal.
