Eternal [ Static Link : iCal ]
City:Canada, Ontario, Ottawa
Time:Sat Aug 31, 2002 @ 12:00am
Description:On Friday August 30th, the Ottawa City Council is set to pass a bylaw that is going to change the way we rave. With all the concerns about what will happen to our scene amidst this situation, the promoters who brought you Ascension and Overload are coming together for one more night to show you that the rave scene is ETERNAL.

We've taken all the feedback from Ascension and Eternal and are working hard to make sure that this event will go off without a hitch. We look forward to seeing everyone at this event, and hope you'll continue your support of us and your scene!

Info:LUKE SPELLBOUND > Ottawa Debut
Groovy & Prime, Extra Terrestrial Brothers > Sydney Australia

For those who have caught his sets on the last Destiny boat party or at the Contaminated event in Toronto, this man needs no introduction. A ten year veteran of the international scene, Luke Spellbound has evolved alongside it to become one of the best nu-nrg / acid trance djs out there.

On the production front Luke met Mikey Leadbetter in 1995 and together they started to write and produce their own tracks under the name of Bopgun. With the support of Central Station Records they started CEN.COR Records through which they released 8 ep’s as well as releasing tracks from collaborations with UK DJ’s Slipmatt and MC Bee from Ultimate Buzz.

In 1997 Luke and Mikey started up Execution Records with Brisbane’s Jen E and Luke Kenny from Melbourne. Collaborating with Luke Kenny they released the wildly successful Wannafuk in 1998. Receiving wide airplay on Australian dance radio it was licensed to Sony for the Strictly Techno series and led to Luke starting up his own radio show with DJ Daydream on Sydney's 2SER called Teknotime. 1998 also saw the launch of Luke's club night Crank.

Since then he's been playing out at events across Australia, Europe, and now North America. We're convinced that once you hear Luke's set, you'll be Spellbound too!

PALADIN 5.0
DAMN! > Parts Unknown

It's been far too long since we've seen this mysterious figure in Ottawa. It was only luck that allowed us to corner him at the World Electronic Music Festival and beg a performance out of him. An unknown wanderer who resembles machine more than man, Paladin is known far and wide for his pounding hard beats. Last time he was here, he was on version 3.0 . Find out what he's got in store for us as he lands again in our fair city.

ASAPH > Ottawa Debut
Lost Island Records, Nova > Montreal Quebec

Founder of Lost Island, Asaph has been working hard over the past years to bring new acts into the Montreal scene. His original compositions and blazing collection of psychadelic trance will no doubt bring you into a new level of consciousness. We're proud to bring this impressive up-and-comer in Ottawa for the first time.
