Less than a month before the annual Burning Man festival in the Nevada desert, Disorient invites you to experience a piece of the playa brought right to New York City. Under a glowing garden of mushrooms and starfish, surrounded by beautiful Freeks in next-level finery, revelers will dance to the soundtrack of their playa memories and prepare for this year's journey to the desert.

Disorient is an arts collective that has made its presence felt at the Burning Man festival for over 10 years, and has brought a new level of Glam-Tech to the New York underground party scene. With art installations, blinking lights and pumping bass, Disorient has created unique and unforgettable events in raw spaces and established clubs throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. For this event, they have curated a top notch lineup of west coast heroes and local favorites to provide mind-altering transportation from this up and coming Brooklyn nightclub straight to the Black Rock Desert.

The three headliners of the event have each earned their playa pedigree many times over. Kapt’n Kirk of the Space Cowboys was one of the first DJs to introduce breaks music to Burning Man. Kramer from the Deep End champions one of the largest and most respected all-day house music parties at the event, and is making his NYC debut at Compressor. Also making his New York debut is Danny Corn from LA’s Moontribe. Moontribe has been throwing legendary full moon desert parties for over 15 years, and Disorient is psyched to let New Yorkers hear his twisted brand of desert breaks. Rounding out the lineup are local favorites JP001, Sub Swara, and Galen Mica, Disorient's own Orion and The Eye, plus burner DJs 3L3TRONIC, and trance beats from Babla and Luis. Just like the Burning Man festival, this party offers every genre of music imaginable throughout the night.

Visual Artists AKAirways and Leo Villareal will showcase their playa-friendly art installations, including interactive inflatables and intelligent lighting. With two rooms of sound, plus a Puddle Lounge, every inch of this newly redesigned nightclub will be filled with music and light, the stage will host dancers and hooping performances, and the dancefloor will be home to New York's costume elite showing off their Burner couture for 2006.

If you ever Burned, you will want to get ignited here with us. If you know friends waiting for a spark to start a fire inside their soul, this is where they will find it.
