with Dj Leo Manga, the Brazilian Vibes band and the Capoeira crew followed by Samba Ottawa
The party is a celebration of the Brazilian Carnaval that is known as the biggest party in the world, the most irreverent and colorful, a party that brings the rhythms of Samba, Batucada, Northeastern Frevo, Bahian Axe and many other rhythms making it the craziest party on the planet.
"A taste of Brazil" was created in 2000 in Gatineau, Quebec, by Fabio Cuencas and Paulo Collier. Three years later, it has been transferred to the Nation’s Capital to be better centered and make it an easier access to all Brazilians and supporters of the event. Practically every year the organizers of the event are forced to relocate the party since it always gets packed with an eclectic crowd of Brazilian music lovers, curious people, adventurous and the regulars, the Brazilian community and every other Latin and no Latin based communities, becoming a well known itinerant party.
