Info:On Friday, June 3, 2005 Kapacity Entertainment proudly presents The Something To Prove Tour with three of Hip-Hop’s superior MC's, Inspectah Deck, Planet Asia, and Afu-Ra.

INSPECTAH DECK

As a member of one of the most significant musical collectives in recent history, Inspectah Deck (aka Rebel INS) of the Wu-Tang Clan has contributed classic verses to some of most beloved Wu songs like C.R.E.A.M., Da Mystery of Chess Boxin, and Triumph. Inspectah Deck has appeared on all four Wu-Tang albums and has contributed to almost every single solo Wu album. He has also released two full-length solo albums, Uncontrolled Substance and The Movement, and has done countless memorable collaborations with some of Hip-Hop’s finest such as Pete Rock, Gang Starr, Big Pun, and Mobb Deep.
The Staten Island raised MC is primed to supply the street’s demand for real live hip-hop. Don’t miss this opportunity to witness the first performance by a member of the Wu-Tang Clan in the nation’s capital.

PLANET ASIA

West Coast MC Planet Asia has recorded singles and albums for a host of different labels, including Stones Throw, ABB, Avatar, Interscope, Threshold, Liquor Barrell, and his own Gold Chain Music. His album, How the West Was One, with partner in rhyme, Rasco (Cali Agents), was released in 2000 with much fanfare and claimed Independent Album of the Year accolades from The Source Magazine. Planet Asia has collaborated with many high-caliber artists such as Talib Kweli, Ghostface, Black Thought, Mystic, Linkin Park, and many more. Asia has amazed fans worldwide with his unbelievable stage presence and energy and continues to be one of the hardest working artists today. His next project is due out this summer on Canada’s Battle Axe Records.

AFU-RA

From his 1994 breakout on Jeru the Damaja's "Mental Stamina," Afu-Ra has fused classic East Coast hardcore with the sensitive, intelligent wordplay expected from a committed Rastafarian. Afu became a protégé of Jeru The Damaja and appeared on the second Jeru album, Wrath of the Math, but moved out on his own for the 1998 single "Whirlwind Thru Cities," an underground favorite. Body of the Life Force, his debut album, appeared in 2000, boasting features from GZA and Cocoa Brovaz. Afu-Ra hooked back up with Gang Starr's DJ Premier for 2002's Life Force Radio. Afu’s new album, State of the Arts, will be in stores this June and features appearances by Royce Da 5’9, Masta Killa of the Wu, Gentleman & Kardinal Offishall.
