Living in the Ottawa electronic music scene, it’s impossible to not be influenced by the work of Hybrid.

Maybe you first heard them when “Finished Symphony” came on at 5am on the dance floors of atomic: All 90 pieces of the Russian Federal Orchestra in what is considered to be one of the greatest electronic music tracks of all time.

Maybe you heard the endless amount of Hybrid songs played out by DJs like Max Graham and Brad Copeland: favorites like their remixs of RadioHead's “Everything In It’s Right Place”, or BT's “Never Gonna Come Back Down”, or Conjure One's “Tears From the Moon (ft Sinead O'Connor)".

More Recently perhaps you purchased “Wide Angle” or “Morning Sci-Fi”, both full length albums. Unknowingly you may have heard them in the soundtrack to the Hollywood blockbuster “Man On Fire”, or on the soundtrack to Playstation 2’s “Lotus Challenge”.

With hundreds of original productions and even more remixes, Hybrid are the biggest driving force in electronic music productions, and one of the most famous live acts in electronic music history. Having played shows like Dance Valley and Creamfields (two of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world), we’re EXTREMELY proud to bring both members of Hybrid, Chris Healings and Mike Truman, to Ottawa. This is the crown jewel of shows for us, a show no one in Ottawa thought could be done. February 11th, in our first installment of Frequency, we’ll make Ottawa electronic music history.

As some of you already know, this is the first bi-monthly being thrown by 7EN Entertainment. 7EN is the amalgamation of Pozativ, RhythmWorks, and Vandelay Productions. Having brought you such shows as Believe With Armin Van Buuren, Scream with Seb Fontaine, and many more, we’re extremely excited to form one team with one goal: bringing Ottawa the biggest and best electronic music shows.

This time around Hybrid are joined by:

Brad Copeland:

In Ottawa the man needs no introduction. Having played with Tiesto, Digweed, Van Buuren, Sander Kleinenberg, and dozens more, it’s safe to assume he knows how to open up for the best in the world. We’re very fortunate to have him here for Frequency.

Also joined by:

Akash Sinha, Balu, and Mister Parker. Three of the hottest locals right now, you’ve come to expect the best in house from these 3.

We’re encouraging everyone to come dressed in red and white for Valentines.

******SET TIMES***********
