To fully understand Fil-E Blunt and his music, one must understand he has two competing influences acting on his style. The groovy, eclectic soul-food of DJ’s like Pedro, Trevor Walker and Frank Kozo – who Fil-E grew up listening to – and his own flair for the dramatic. Not the Diva dramatic, but a cool and quiet dramatic.â€
