What. The. FUCK. Happened? What happened to the old Cypress Hill sound? What happened to every track being bouncy and making you wanna throw ya gunz in da air or being such a laid-back stoner anthem that it makes you wanna smoke a blunt every time you hear it? Dare I say it, but I think that Cypress Hill has finally gotten a mainstream, watered-down sound? These beats could have been done by ANYONE ELSE you'd hear on "urban radio" these days, with none of the originality and creativity they used to have. Fur fuck sakes there's a spanish-sounding reggea track on there. I think they've finally smoked themselves retarded. |
