Holy fuck.

[DRUM & BASS]

Rob F & Su-Real - Deceit/Breathe on Hostile.
Nice one! New York's Negative comes correct with his brand new label and a very highly anticipated first release. Rob F represents the very essence of neuro-funk drum & bass today...too bad he doesn't make tunes anymore. Get it while you still can. I also happen to have a few advance copies of the next single on this label from Kryptic Minds & Leon Switch.

Zinc - Ska Remix/Fuitella on True Playaz.
Everybody who's anybody knows that Zinc is the true genius behind True Playaz. He always comes up with the craziest tunes, tightest production, and inimitable sound and that's why we love him. On this 12 he remixes the anthem 'Ska' to a dazzling effect, you'll only really know though when you drop it in the mix...smooth...yet hard. Mmmmm, Corey likey!

John B - Pressure 2004/Sight Beyond 2004 on Formation.
It's funny how everyone at Formation dissed my boy John when he made his send-up of Twisted Individual's 'Bandwagon Blues' with 'Blandwagon Poos'. This guy is on 24 hour defense just cuz he's feelin' the electro vibe, but it's all smiles when he churns out this dancfloor killer. For those who remember, 'Pressure' is one of John B's earliest hits, but that hasn't stopped him from remixing it yet again! Constantly switching breaks and basslines to keep you guessing and keep you screaming for the rewind...don't sleep.

Pendulum - Spiral/Ulterior Motive - Uprising.
This tune was supposed to come out on Concord Dawn's Low Profile imprint over 6 months ago. So you may have heard of people rinsing it on promo for some time now. However due to the huge Vinyl Distribution upset and general reshuffling of the industry it has now switched over to Concord Dawn's brand new Uprising Records. As if I need to tell you this tune will shake you down to your very foundations. Always groundbreaking, keep your eyes peeled for the forthcoming Concord Dawn LP.

Bulletproof & Optiv - Hit & Run/Filthy Sinner on Cyanide.
Also a long time coming...praise the lord! Optiv is here! Cause 4 Concern's main man joins up with Australia's Bulletproof to give you nothing but tech. Only advance promos of this one so get 'em while you can!

Kings Of The Rollers Sampler 1 on 31 Records.
Woah. Doc Scott all over this one! The man behind the label steps forward with remixes of 2 of his most famous tunes under his typical Nasty Habits guise. First up '4 Da Cause' (previously on the Reinforced 'Enforcers' series) gets a touch up from the Doc AND Baron featuring vocals from MC Justyce...BOUNCY. Next up, the anthem 'Shadow Boxing' gets the remix treatment from none other then Jonny L. Like I said...woah.

King Of The Rollers Sampler 2 on 31 Records.
More more more. For those of you looking for the more tech-y side of d&b, check out Friction's 'Aurora' and let it rip. Kontrol takes over the b-side with 'Echoes Of Light' and a real twisted bassline keeps us all in check...both tunes are very solid.

Goldie - Angel III/Sinister THE REMIXES on Razors Edge.
Goldie summons his Metalheadz sub-label to rise from the dead, and in doing so commissions 2 very classy remixes of 2 very classy tunes. Goldie's 'Angel' gets taken on by Loxy & Ink, while the legendary 'Sinister' gets redone by Spirit. All I gotta say is: Mentasms galore.

Concept 2 feat. Sare X - Discology/Twisted Funk on Liftin' Spirit.
Don't be distracted by the artist name, this is indeed Andy C & Ant Miles dropping some of their trademark RAM sounds. Some nice female vocals that aren't overdone make this record phat AND funky...that's the great thing about these records, they will work on a more musical level and still rock a dancefloor. Check it.

DJ Craze & Juju - The Money/U Ain't Ready on Cartel.
#2 from the Craze & Juju's new label and some might just say that these guys are finally tapping a source that Capital J has known about all along. Fat bouncy bassline, fresh hip hop smaples and some A-Class scratching make both sides of this record a nice surprise.

Laroque - Duality/5-0 on Fokuz.
All I gotta say is that one day 'Goldfinger' will come out on Hospital and you will all say "oooooooh, now i get it". Laroque are the next big thing, and you now have no excuse for not checking them out when this shit drops.

[RAGGA JUNGLE ALERT!!!]

Remarc - Unreleased Dubs 94-96 on Planet-Mu.
I shouldn't have to explain this. None of these tunes have ever seen the light of day...unless you've heard Remarc himself drop these on dubplate, this is a first. All anthems here, and yes...ALL AMENS. If you have even an ounce of ragga junglist blood in your veins, you will need to cop this 4-peice vinyl set of unreleased classics. Period.

There MIGHT be more shit on friday....but I don't see why.

Peace,

Corey

I dunno weather to call it a strange coincidence, or if it's something "planned", but the Klute record AND the Spiral both have the labels on the wrong side. The Morning Light side says it's Don't Tell Me, and the Don't Tell Me side says it's Morning Light, and The Spiral side says Ulterior Motive, and the Ulterior motive side says The Spiral.

Funky.

Due to overwhelming demand, the following record is back in stock:

Pendulum - Spiral/Ulterior Motive on Uprising.
Unless you've been in a coma for the last 6 months, you've heard about this Australian trio of badasses. 'Spiral' is being hailed as one of their best, featuring beautiful strings, haunting vocals and a killer bassline that turns all heads. We sold out of this record so fast I got vinyl rash. Get it while you still can and own a piece of history...Peace,

Corey K
