If they yell at me though they're dead! Yeah, the issue there is that in a coffee shop or retail you deal mostly with people looking for something that you either have, or don't. They pay, they're happy, they go. When you start dealing with "business owners", you quickly realize that when money's on the line (and I assume you'll be working a lot with managers, small bosses and business owners), most people become arrogant, suffer from god complex, are fucking jumpy, etc. Especially Americans... pray they're not baptists or protestants. |
