| yeah, for the most part.. Though there are a few exceptions.. The Thing being the best I can think of.. I never saw the original Wicker Man, but I reeeeeeeally liked the remake. |

| i haven't seen the remake (and didn't know there was one!), but the original is pretty good as well as ridiculously insane.
They NEVER did a remake of The Thing! |

| The Thing IS the remake, the original is a 50s movie called The Thing From Another World, based on a story called Who Goes There.. I got it on DVD :P It's really good, but deffinitley a diffrent movie. The Thing is a frankenstein-looking plant-person, but watching it you can really see all of the elements that they took to make the Carpenter version. |
