| actually, eldar, to clear up the black hole situation, when a star starts to become a black hole, it shrinks rather than expands, after a long battle with shrinking and stabalizing and shrinking again, it ends up become smaller and less powerful (because it's mass is so huge, yet it is so small) than it's gravatational pull, and thus its light can't escape

| Our star, the sun, is not massive enough to become a black hole. It will just burn itself into a white or gray dwarf.
All stars at the end of their life "expand" by shooting off planetary nebulas.
i don't know but the "Big Rip" is not a very comely name for the fate of the Universe. |
