I'm totally not feeling anything from these samples, so I'm out. I got like less than 2mins of track done, and it's old-skool rave/borderline hardcore, and it's just not working out.

Man sometimes it's not the result that counts but the fact thay you accomplish something that should make you feel good. What happened to the good old "never give up"? SOmetimes the tools we have are shitty but you always have to rely on plan B and still do something. If plan B fails then go to plan C, and so on..

And once you've gone through all the plans from a-z, and then gone through plans with all the colors in the spectrum, and then through the first trillion numbers, and still come up with nothing...

3 drum loops, a 1 second long pad, 3 stabs, a short sub-bass burst, ONE NOTE from a reece, and one vocal sample, as far as I'm concerned, do NOT make a song. Maybe it's just me, but if ALL DnB is done like this competition was, then it would be boring and un-original re-using of "classic" samples over and over and over again.

I'm certain some great stuff is gonna come out of it, but so far, the general concensus, from peple who have been SERIOUS about producing for a LONG time (and not just people out to try and get laied by saying "Look at how cool I am I made this track") agree that the sample-pack isn't worth shit.

Not even individual drums to make your own loop? ONE note from a reece? That's so fucking pathetic it's not even funny. It was made for noobs using acid and/or reason, period.
