| I think Timberlake is a joke. Might as well have come out of American Idol. Yeah, the shit he does is better than it was back in hte NSYNC days but I think thats the reason why people think hes good (because his music was so bad before). The fact is that he could have never started his career doing what he does now, he would have remained a nobody. He took the easy way into the music industry. Its not about being jealous, I just think that we shouldnt be obliged to respect him just because he got out of the Boy band mold...that mold made him what he is today.
Furthermore, he's always siding with other artists (ALWAYS) so I wouldnt call him solo. Yeah, he does do some solo but all his hits feature other artists. Just because he gives a bag full of money to the likes of Nelly to side with him so he can look Ghetto doesent make him a good solo arist. The boy grew up in freakin disneyland! I saw his solo performance a SARSFEST in T-Dot and it was horrible, he just looks like he desperately wants to have soul...pathetic. And the Von Dutch trucker hat.... But yea, I'd like to have his cheddar. |
